About me
I’m an artist residing Kyle, Texas working in both figurative and abstract tapestry weaving.
I graduated in 2018 from Southwestern University with a B.A. in studio art painting. My focus was oil painting and ceramic sculpture but fiber is something I’ve always carried with me.
In 2019 I had my first child and in a bid to keep my art practice alive I knew I needed to change. So I bought a loom.
While paint and clay was traded for yarn and thread, my artistic message has stayed the same. I work in ideas of nature, the feminine, identity, and the irrational. I use color and the soft nature of yarn to build atmosphere and space in my work.
